This 4-legged leather-wrapped mate gourd combines traditional calabash brewing with enhanced durability and a refined finish. The interior is made from natural pumpkin gourd, allowing authentic flavour development over time.

The exterior is fully wrapped in leather for added protection, grip, and a premium feel. An aluminium ferrule reinforces the rim, helping prevent cracking and adding long-term structural strength. The four-leg base provides excellent stability for everyday use.

Curing is required before first use, as with all natural calabash gourds.

Natural Material Notice

Each mate gourd is made from a natural pumpkin and genuine leather. Variations in size, shape, colour, and leather grain are expected and are not considered defects. Every piece is one of a kind.

Care & Curing Instructions

1. Fill the gourd halfway with used yerba mate.
2. Add warm (not boiling) water.
3. Let rest for 24 hours.
4. Empty, gently scrape the inside to remove loose fibres.
5. Rinse lightly and allow to air-dry completely.

Avoid soaking the leather exterior. Dry the gourd fully after each use and never leave Mate inside overnight.
